I don't give a crap about wether anyone thinks I am lying or not since I'm not doing this for attention. I am not available to offer support regarding this, so please don't message me ingame about this.

What you will need:
A handful of warriors in search of Battle Rage (at least 1 W/Mo)
Lina
Alesia

Please ensure before leaving that the W/Mo have Heal Area equipped, or else the two healer henchmen will eventually kill the boss. You might find it helpful to bring Sprint / Charge / Balanced Stance.

The quickest way of doing this is to simply run all the way to the res point in the centre of the map and die upon reaching it. While passing the boss cave, hold your Ctrl button and make sure the name of the boss is 'Smukk Foombool'. If it isn't then you'll just have to return to camp and try again.

After doing this, the journey from the res shrine to the boss cave should be very straightforward for even a small team since there are less enemies on this side of the cave.

When you have returned to the cave, isolate the boss by killing all of the enemies surrounding him. After this, whack the boss to about half HP or so, and then instruct all of your warriors to just spam their capture signets while Lina and Alesia keep Foombool's HP down. If Foombool's drops too low then one of your W/Mo can just cast Heal Area while standing next to it. I've heard he only uses it when he has below 25% HP, so don't heal him too much. It shouldn't take too long before you have Battle Rage sitting in your skill bar

does that mean he can appear in 2 different places or they changed the other cave to the ranger type permanently now?

added: it seems like if ppl are meeting the boss there now. (close to camp rankor) then i think GW has changed it and BR is more easily doable now.
doesnt smuk usually appear in the cave close to res spot and entrance/exit of snake dance....hmmm...interesting. i will have to try this now.

Yeah, I tried the other area beforehand but the ranger boss spawned there 3 times out of 3, which was enough to convince me I was wasting my time. Similarly, Foombool appeared at the cave in my picture 3 times out of 3.

darn the ranger type spawns there...ive gotten nothing but the ranger one a few times w/ no warrior type..hehe. they should really set one in one place and the other on the other...

Hmm, yeah. One of the guys in my group was constantly dropping and picking up an item, although I was sceptical about wether this had any effect at first. I guess you 'might as well' do it if nothing else works.

i just got battle rage. the drop method works. in fact he was just a bit under 50% health when he used the skill
